DB4 combines the expressive benchmark terroir of our estate with a compelling blend of fruit produced in David Abreu's vineyards: Madrona, Thorevilos, and Lucia Howell Mountain. This wine has been a favorite of our clients since its inaugural release in 2007, as it captures the Bryant Family style at an affordable price point.

The 2014 Proprietary DB4 showed loads of black cherry, a good bit of wood spice, earth, and a medium to full body. This wine has Pomerol lushness, but also aromatics reminiscent of a great grand cru red Burgundy from the Côte de Nuits. It is perfumed, medium-bodied and beautifully textured and pure. Drink it over the next 10-12 years. Drink Date: 2016-2028.
