Goisot Bourgogne Aligote 2014
Wine AdvocateBottled three weeks prior to my visit, the 2014 Bourgogne Aligoté comes from vines located within three vineyards in the ambit of Saint-Bris, vines aged between 35 and 92 years old. It has a fresh, candied bouquet with freshly sliced pear and mint aromas that are well defined. The palate is fresh and crisp with a slightly waxy texture toward the finish, a dab of shaved ginger dallying about on the aftertaste. This is a fine Aligoté and I suspect it will improve with a little bottle age.
