Wine AdvocateThe only Syrah to incorporate Viognier, the 2014 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard is co-fermented with 7% Viognier and brought up all in puncheons. The Viognier shows on the nose and it has a floral, perfumed bouquet of ripe berry fruits, plums, orange blossom, fruit cake and mulled spices. Picking up a touch of green olive with time in the glass, this full-bodied, ripe, downright sexy beauty will have two decades of longevity.
