Petite Sirah is known for its concentration and intensity, the 2015 vintage is no exception. Inky purple in the glass, this deeply colored wine resonates with juicy blueberries and hints of freshly turned earth. Succulent and savory notes of dark berries and roasted spices create a supple and mouth-filling texture. Aging in American oak for 12 months captures and concentrates the flavors, leading to a finish with chalky and chewy tannins laced with vanilla, toasted brown sugar and dark cocoa. Pairings: Smoked lamb shoulder with rosemary, braised short ribs with blackberry barbecue sauce, smoked gouda cheese.
Fattoria del Cerro Manero 2014Color: Intense, ruby red. Bouquet: Wild berry, spices and vanilla. Flavor: Dense, round, decisive flavor with excellent persistence. Pairings: Best served with roasted red meats, red meat stews and aged cheeses.
Montes Classic Series Cabernet Sauvignon 2014A lively red color is the first clue that the wine before us is very fresh. Its aromatic potency is very well harmonized with complexity. There's a predominance of red berries, jam, blackcurrant liqueur (crème de cassis), and a juicy sensation of crushed strawberries. Eight months in contact with French oak lend it a certain degree of seriousness, along with a bit of vanilla, smoke, cigar box, and sweet spices. Good balance on the palate with properly rounded tannins that enable this Cabernet Sauvignon to linger long on the palate.
Bodegas Borsao Campo de Borja 2015Cherry red with violet nuances. Has a ripe fruit nose with floral tones. Full bodied wine, spicy and with a complex and long aftertaste.
Evel Douro Red 2014The Evel Tinto is produced from vines planted at Quinta das Carvalhas, Quinta dos Aciprestes and Quinta de Cidrô, located in Pinhão, Vale do Tua and São João da Pesqueira. The first two locations benefit from a warm climate where wines are structured and elegante while Quinta de Cidrô benefits from a cool climate that permits the slow maturation of grapes and the production of aromatic wines with smooth tanins. The Evel Red is considered a typical Douro reference, with aromas of red fruit and green notes, typical for the region. It reveals itself very balanced, flavourful and round with a good structure and a fruity, persistent finish.
Casa Santos Lima Colossal Reserva Red 2014With an intense rubi colour, this wine presents itself with a great concentration in the nose. Extremely rich aroma with predominance of red ripe frutis and some floral notes, well integrated with notes of spices coming from the ageing in French and American aok barrels. In the mouth it shows great complexity with notes of plums and blackberries. The finish is rich and elegant.

At 14.5% Ataliva is a big wine and there is enough structure to balance the fruit and ripeness and subtle earthy elements lend a welcome savory aspect. Enjoy with grilled meat and BBQ.

Its nose is aromatic with hints of cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant, enlivened with sweet pepper. The fruity freshness of the bouquet is equally complemented by floral hints (blueberry flowers). Its attack, delicately wrapped, reveals a sweet fruity evolution. On the palate, flavours of raspberry, fresh cherry and redcurrant develop, complemented with fine spices. Its finish is persistent and flavoursome.
