Rosso Bello (literally 'Beautiful Red') is a blend of Sangiovese (50%) and Montepulciano (50%), the main red grape varieties of central Italy, 100% organically farmed. Ruby red in color with a fruity nose of savory cherry fruit laced with black currant and hints of cedar and spice. Balanced tannins and fruit on the palate and finish. Rosso Bello is an incredible value wine and very versatile: it will pair well with all classical pasta dishes with tomato sauce, coldcuts and cheeses, pizza and roasted meats.
Vintages prior to 2012 also saw a small percentage on Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend (roughly 10%). Starting with vintage 2012 it is a 50-50 Sangiovese-Montepulciano blend.
