Cult Cabernet Sauvignon 2017Our Cult Cabernet opens with a mélange of baking spices including cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and cocoa powder. Savory and fruit forward, this medium bodied Cab features notes of black cherry, raspberry, blood orange peel, cola, and forest floor. The palate boasts chalky, refined tannins and smoothness throughout, finishing long. A touch of vanilla can be found on the finish.
Castillo de Cuzcurrita Senorio de Cuzcurrita 2014Lovely black-cherry colour, with an intense, complex nose with aromas of dark fruit, such as ripe black plums, blueberries and blackcurrants, with some spicy, balsamic nuances such as cedar wood and liquorice coming through. Smooth, juicy mouth-feel with soft, enveloping tannins. Complex, well-balanced and elegant with a long, gentle finish and high aromatic persistence. Senorio de Cuzcurrita is the wine made from grapes from within the walled enclosure of the castle and other nearby vineyards. It is the label which most faithfully represents the personality of Cuzcurrita wines. All the vines are old, unirrigated and goblet-pruned. During veraison the cluster are generally thinned so as to match the amount of grapes per vine to its canopy surface in a ratio of 1.5 to 2.0 m2 per plant. Senorio de Cuzcurrita is a wine which has fermented at 30 ºC with long maceration in 15,000-litre vats with an excellent geometrical shape. It has outstanding dark black-cherry colour, an intense nose of ripe red-berry fruit and hints of spices from the oak casks. Smooth tannins wrap around the mouth and leave a long, lingering finish.
Donati DONATI CABERNET FAMILY VINEYARD 2016It’s no secret Italians have a love for the vine in their blood – Ron Donati is no different. In 1998 when he purchased the Paicines property his vision was for his son, Matt Donati, to grow high quality, unique grapes from the 9th oldest AVA in California. Soon, after rave reviews of the fruit, Ron Donati (ever the business man) got to thinking… good grapes make great wine. Thus is born Donati Family Vineyard. In 2003 we produced Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Meritage, and Claret, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc. We held these in bottle until 2005 when we started hand selling the product to great restaurants, and boutique wine shops. Again, our ears were burning with positive reviews and re-orders from our customers. We had so many requests from the public to get their hands on this wine - we couldn’t turn them down. Though Paicines offers a lovely home for our grapes, with a population of 204 - it’s not the best place for a Tasting Room, so we chose Templeton, CA (right outside of Paso Robles) for our new home. Winemaker’s Notes Aromas of strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, and milk chocolate. The palate has velvet tannins and notes of chocolate smoothie, hazelnut, blackberry and mocha. It has balanced acidity. There is a medium-plus finish. The finish is smooth with undertones of aged bourbon oak. Blend: 90% Cabernet Sauvignon 6% Petit Verdot 4% Merlot
Foley Johnson ESTATE CABERNET 2017Rutherford Cabernet defines Napa style, and here's a fine taste of "Rutherford dust" at a very fair price indeed. It's a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, 2% Petite Sirah with 18 months in 30% new oak. Opens nicely with air to show fine richness and volume and very pretty spice notes to complement the dark berry fruit. Smooth enough to sip solo, but a very fine choice at table with beef or lamb.

Almaviva Puente Alto Red 2017Deep, intense and opaque ruby red. Dense and full-bodied, the wine fills the mouth with round, ripe and refined tannins, leaving an overall impression of balance and persistence. Produced from an extremely warm, but superb vintage, this well-structured wine of balanced acidity strikes a wonderful combination of elegance and power, with a very promising long aging potential.
