Aged nine months in 18% new oak, the 2017 Pinot Noir Vintner's Reserve has a pale to medium ruby color and opens with dried cranberries, cinnamon toast, bright red cherries, autumn leaves and potpourri with notes of citrus peel and sweet spice. It's light to medium-bodied with good intensity, a soft frame and juicy freshness to enliven the finish. Great Value. 117,765 cases produced.

Ripe fruit flavors and a generous helping of oak spices make this full-bodied wine flavorful and easy to sip. It brings cinnamon and red cherry to the nose, and black cherry, cranberry and baking spices to the palate.

Juicy, with good cut to the red currant, cherry and raspberry flavors, backed by crunchy acidity. White pepper notes show on the finish. Drink now. 100,000 cases made.

Spice cherries, raspberries and sassafras notes all emerge from the 2017 Pinot Noir Vintners Reserve, which is medium-bodied and nicely balanced, with a classy finish. While too many Pinot Noirs at this price point are sweet and overdone, this is solid.
