Torre de Ona Reserva 2010 BottleMedium-high intensity, cherry-red with a garnet-red rim. Clean and bright. Intense nose. Very fruity, with aromas of forest berries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries, enveloping the notes of painstaking barrel ageing. This leads to toasty notes of bakery, mocha, tobacco and Lebanon cedar. In the mouth it is well-balanced with a pleasant acidity, and firm, polished tannins that provide structure and reaffirm its balance. Its time in the bottle provides an attractive final roundness. FOOD PAIRING The perfect match to all kinds of stews, casseroles and meat-based recipes. Also ideal with spicy sauces and medium-aged cheeses.
La Rioja Alta Vina Arana Reserva 2009The Viña Arana 2009 is a wine with that smooth, polished red colour typical of classic Riojas. Clean and bright in the glass, with light orange notes on the rim. Outstandingly intense nose, with light balsamic tertiary aromas of tobacco, caramel, incense and spices against a background of ripe fruit. Consistent and well-balanced in the mouth, with fine, elegant tannins. Very enjoyable, ample, elegant finish; mature and pleasant. Pairing: First courses of rice or pasta dishes. Small game casseroles, char-grilled meat, etc.
