Evel Douro Red 2014The Evel Tinto is produced from vines planted at Quinta das Carvalhas, Quinta dos Aciprestes and Quinta de Cidrô, located in Pinhão, Vale do Tua and São João da Pesqueira. The first two locations benefit from a warm climate where wines are structured and elegante while Quinta de Cidrô benefits from a cool climate that permits the slow maturation of grapes and the production of aromatic wines with smooth tanins. The Evel Red is considered a typical Douro reference, with aromas of red fruit and green notes, typical for the region. It reveals itself very balanced, flavourful and round with a good structure and a fruity, persistent finish.
Casa Santos Lima Colossal Reserva Red 2014With an intense rubi colour, this wine presents itself with a great concentration in the nose. Extremely rich aroma with predominance of red ripe frutis and some floral notes, well integrated with notes of spices coming from the ageing in French and American aok barrels. In the mouth it shows great complexity with notes of plums and blackberries. The finish is rich and elegant.

Chasing Venus Sauvignon Blanc 2018The moment the bottle is opened there is no doubt that this is a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Explosive aromas of grapefruit, mango and fresh mown grass lead into intense flavors of lychee, citrus and star fruit. The bright lime-zest finish is both crisp and lingering. The 2018 Chasing Venus Sauvignon Blanc is produced from grapes grown on small family farms in the acclaimed Marlborough appellation. The McLean vineyard is located in the heart of the appellation where the free-draining alluvial soils contribute the mango and ripe green aromas, while the Comely Bank fruit is all about citrus and zest.

Ataliva Malbec 2016An entry-level offering from Bodega Benegas, Ataliva is made with 100% Malbec grapes sourced from the Upper bank of the Mendoza River and from Tupungato's Uco Valley. Aged in French oak barrels (2nd and 3rd use) for about 6 months. At 14.5% Ataliva is a big wine and there is enough structure to balance the fruit and ripeness and subtle earthy elements lend a welcome savory aspect. Enjoy with grilled meat and BBQ.

Made by winemaker Julien Braud, a top-notch Muscadet producer, this rosé is blend of 53% Gamay, 33% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 4% Pineau d'Aunis. The fun packaging and reasonable price may lead you to believe this is all a gimmick--when a social media blitz erupted over the 2016 Forty Ounce, it became one of our biggest surprise hits of 2017--but don’t let the kitschy package fool you, this is a pretty serious rosé with a vibrant pink hue laced with gorgeous flavors of white cherries and strawberry with a hint of marjoram. The palate is full for a rosé and keeps on going. This is a terrific wine for just hanging out with friends and having a little nosh of roasted root vegetable and grilled meats. Gerard Boulay Sancerre Rosé 2018Varietals: Pinot Noir Organic: Practicing Vineyard: From 35-40 year old Pinot Noir vines on the steep hillsides in front of the Boulay home in Chavignol. Orientation: Multiple parcels, varied exposure Soil: Steep clay hillside Viticulture: Gerard works the soil manually and lets nature make the wine Vinification: Tank fermented. Boulay adds no yeast and minimal amounts of SO2 Aging: Tank aged Production: 200 cases annually Notes: Unlike many Sancerre Roses, Gerard harvests his Pinot specifically to make rose by direct press, then into tank. It is not a selection of young vines as he has no young Pinot vines. What makes the rosé one year could make red another, and vice versa, depending on what the vintage gives.
