Aromas of black currant, fig and plums, coupled with cedar, clove and spice.
Taste:
Full-bodied, velvety smooth and very well-structured; rounded and ripe, with firm tannins; lingering finish.
Wine Spectator
Quite toasty, with cocoa powder and bacon notes leading the way for a layer of dark currant and fig fruit. Solid finish. For fans of the toasty style. Drink now through 2009.

Wine Advocate
The Antu Ninquen wines come from a single vineyard atop the plateau of Ninquen Mountain in the Colchagua Valley. The well-known Paul Hobbs serves as a consultant to the project. The 2005 Antu Ninquen Cabernet Sauvignon - Carmenere was aged for 18 months in French oak. Purple-colored, it offers up aromas of scorched earth, smoke, toast, blueberries and black currants. Firmly structured, medium to full-bodied, and still a bit tight, this wine has plenty of fruit and the balance to evolve for 3-5 years. It should drink well through 2020.

Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
