This wine is bottled without fining or filtering. There is additional risk in this, but we prefer not to stripe the wine of subtle flavors and aromas. The formation of deposits in the bottle will be noticeable after some cellaring time. We strongly recommend decanting this wine at least an hour before drinking.
Intense, pure, full colours and young aromas. This wine completes our vision of Malbec. We wish to honour the insignia variety of Mendoza. We want to emphasize all the characteristics of this unique cepage. Our work in the vineyards reinforces leaf system over root system, and emphasizes the soul of the fruit. Our objective is to preserve the vertebral column of variety as the first step of a trilogy that continues in ascending stairs with Quimera – a design wine - and Finca Altamira, Finca Bella Vista and Finca Mirador, through which we showcase the expresion of terroir. The wine was aged during 10 months in French Oak barrels. We took special care to preserve the necessary balance between wood and fruit without losing its spontaneity.
Wine Spectator
Really vivid, with plum and fig notes laced with a bright violet hint. The lingering finish lets raspberry and pastis notes chime in. Fleshy and concentrated, but pure, with mouthwatering acidity. Drink now through 2010.

Wine Advocate
The 2008 Malbec spent 9 months in French oak before bottling without fining or filtration. It is a glass-coating opaque purple with a bouquet of toast, violets, spice box, black cherry, and plum. Smooth-textured and sweetly fruited, it has excellent depth, savory flavors, and a lengthy finish. In our current economy, this is an ideal steak house wine.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
